Depending on the type of session you decide to book, some of what you may need or want for your session will be provided by the photographer. Check out the specifics below to see what you may need to bring for your session!

Holiday Mini Sessions: When you book a holiday mini session (Christmas, Easter, Fall, etc.) all of the background details and props are provided by KP Photography. All you have to do is arrive at the session location and experience the magic. Of course you are always welcome to bring along anything you specifically want in your pictures.

Children & Milestones: This session is the desired session type for small children, specifically birthday sessions. Standard props that I provide include seating (stools, small bench, a quilt upon requests), chalkboards (to personalized at session), and for First Birthday sessions, wood letters to spell out ONE. I do not provide cake smash cakes, or themed props (character objects, balloons, garland) however, if that is something you wish to bring to your session simply let me know and we will incorporate it in! Children tend to thrive on familiarity, so I always encourage parents to include them in choosing a beloved blanket, stuffed animal, or favorite toy to bring with them to the session.

Family Sessions: I currently do not provide objects such as large mirrors, frames, or family sized seating. This is something I hope to invest in for the future. If you have these things and wish to use them, we will do so. If you have a friend of the family that you wish to bring along to help engage with your children, or keep an eye on them while Mom and Dad get their picture taken, I absolutely encourage you to do so. Just let me know who you will have with you and what their role is, and I will make a note of it!

Newborns: I have a variety of wraps, baskets, and bows for newborns for you to choose from for your little one. However, given the nature of lifestyle newborn photography, props are minimal. I prefer to indulge in the natural interactions of parents and baby together in the comfort of their home and normal surroundings. I will always aim to provide at least one to two props for posed images of just your little one. Special requests will be considered on a case by case basis.
